ALL CHALK RULES

  • Make against-the-spread predictions from a weekly slate of games.

  • Score points with correct picks and lose points with incorrect picks.

  • Compete in groups for highscore.

  • Track your stats over time.

  • Have fun!

  • Players must make a selection for each of the six games on the weekly slate.

  • Selections must account for the point spread. To learn more about against-the-spread betting, click here.

  • You must submit picks prior to kick off of the Thursday night game.

  • Once you submit your picks there’s no going back, so choose wisely. “All bets are final”.

  • The intent is to simulate a week of sports betting. You can “bet” up to “10 units” per week with the goal of finishing the week with as much “profit” as possible.

  • We like to think of this format as “Fantasy Sports Betting”.

  • Players receive +1 point for a correct pick and -1 point for an incorrect pick.

  • Players have the option to risk double points (2X) on two of their picks.

  • Players have the option to risk triple points (3X) on one of their picks.

  • The highest possible weekly score for a player using all three multipliers is +10 points.

  • The lowest possible weekly score for a player using all three multipliers is -10 points.

  • On the season scoreboard, missed weeks will be scored as zero.

  • The season scoreboard has a toggle at the top showing “TRUE SCORE” and “ADJUSTED SCORE”.

  • “ADJUSTED SCORE”, removes a players two lowest scoring weeks for the season.

  • Players can create and/or join groups to compete against friends.

  • Users can compete in as many groups as they would like… Friends, family, co-workers. Your local restaurant or bar may host a group. Your local radio station may have a group for their listeners.

  • Users only need to make one set of picks and those picks will be included in every group they play in.

  • Groups can compete in weekly and/or season-long contests.

  • You cannot see the group card until you have submitted your picks.

  • If you do not submit picks for the week, your name will not appear on the weekly group card and you will receive a zero for the week on the season scorecard.

  • The weekly slate of games will always include 6 picks.

  • We will always try to include the “Social Games”, a term we coined for the nationally televised, evening games, typically on Thursday, Sunday and Monday nights.

  • To create more scoring opportunities on the final day of the week, the Monday Night game will typically include both the point spread as well as the total (over / under). To learn more about over/under betting, click here.

  • Players can create a group by clicking “CREATE GROUP” at the bottom of the “GROUPS” screen.

  • Group owners will assign a unique group name and password, and select the sport(s) they’d like their group to compete in.

  • Group owners can add players to their group by searching for a contact’s All Chalk user name in the search field and clicking INVITE.

  • Alternatively, group owners can copy/paste the group invite and send directly to their contacts via text or other messaging format.

  • Players can join a group by clicking on the invitation sent to them by the group owner. This invitation will be located in their All Chalk inbox or sent to them directly.

  • Alternatively, players can click on JOIN GROUP at the bottom of the GROUPS SCREEN. There, they can search for their unique group name and enter the group password, when prompted.

  • On the Manage Groups screen, group owners will be able to:

    • Add / remove sports.
    • Remove individual players.
    • Send invites to new players.
    • Reassign ownership of the group to a different player.

  • Group owners are encouraged to make sure players are familiar with the rules of All Chalk as well as any additional “OWNER CREATED RULES”.

    • For an example of “owner created rules”, on a season bet, an owner might offer two “BYE WEEKS” and say that any missed weeks, beyond two, will result in an automatic DQ.

  • Owners will also be able to hide players from the season scorecard but leave them on the weekly scorecard.

  • As group owner, you can only leave a group if you first reassign ownership of the group to another player.

  • For “JOINED GROUPS”, players can remove themselves from the group and they can copy the invitation to send to new prospective players.

  • All Chalk is not a gambling platform and we do not endorse or promote actual wagering. All Chalk is intended as a platform for “fantasy sports betting” that simulates the excitement without the financial risk.

  • If users decide to use this platform for wagering, they do so at their own risk and are advised to make sure they are acting in accordance with federal, state and local gambling laws.

  • All Chalk does not facilitate or mediate wagering transactions and will not be held responsible for any wagers, won or lost.

  • Having said that, we know it is commonplace with things like football pools, march madness brackets, Superbowl squares, etc. for social wagering amongst friends to take place, so, while we do not endorse or condone wagering, we do wish to remind those groups that decide to “make things interesting”, that All Chalk is a new application that may be prone to unforeseen technical difficulties. Please act accordingly, be patient with us, and BE RESPONSIBLE.
