All Chalk Skill Game – Full Contest Rules & Legal Disclaimer

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to All Chalk! This page contains the official contest terms and conditions along with the restaurant disclaimer that applies when participating in contests at bars, restaurants, and other establishments. By downloading the app or joining a group, you agree to the rules outlined here.

1. Eligibility

  • Participation is limited to patrons 18 years or older, or 21 years or older in venues restricted to 21+ patrons.

  • Employees of the venue may participate, provided they cannot control the outcome of the contest. Administrative access to the group (such as adding or removing members) is permitted, but does not allow altering scores or determining winners.

  • Limit one entry per participant. Duplicate or fraudulent entries may be disqualified.

  • The venue reserves the right to verify age, eligibility, identity, and number of entries at any time.

  • Participants may be disqualified at the venue’s sole discretion for suspected fraud or rule violations.

2. How to Enter

  • Join the venue’s All Chalk group via QR code or by creating an All Chalk account and linking to the group.

  • Participation is free and no purchase is required.

  • Only one account per participant may be used to submit picks.

  • Entry deadlines are defined by the weekly slate; late submissions are not accepted.

3. Game Scoring

  • Each week, All Chalk posts a slate of 6 NFL games.

  • Participants pick which team will cover the spread in each game.

  • Scoring:

    • +1 point for each correct pick, -1 point for each incorrect pick.

    • Participants may designate two picks as double-point (2X) and one pick as triple-point (3X).

    • Maximum weekly score: +10 points. Minimum weekly score: -10 points.

  • All scoring, results, and calculations are final and determined by All Chalk’s independent systems.

4. Prizes & Redemption

  • No tangible prizes are guaranteed.

  • When prizes are offered, they are modest and non-cash (e.g., gift cards, t-shirts, snacks, or other merchandise).

  • Prize availability may be limited; prizes are awarded while supplies last.

  • Prizes must be claimed in person at the hosting venue within 2 weeks of final results by presenting the device attached to the winning player profile to an appointed member of venue staff.

  • Gift cards may be redeemable for any merchandise sold by the venue, including alcohol for participants 21 years or older, but participation does not require alcohol purchase.

  • The venue reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at its discretion.

  • All prize decisions are final and at the discretion of the venue.

  • Global All Chalk leaderboards are for entertainment only; no global prizes are awarded.

5. No Gambling

  • This contest is not gambling.

  • This is a free, skill-based contest; no purchase of alcohol, food, merchandise, or any other item is required to participate or win.

  • The venue and All Chalk do not profit from wagering.

  • Participants acknowledge that no chance-based elements are used in determining winners.

6. Right to Cancel or Modify

  • The venue reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time for any reason, including operational, safety, legal, technical, or regulatory concerns.

  • Cancellation or modification will not create liability or obligation to provide compensation or substitute prizes.

7. Liability

  • Contests are for entertainment purposes only and are not gambling or wagering.

  • Void where prohibited by law.

  • All Chalk reserves the right to disqualify participants who cheat, create multiple accounts, or engage in disruptive conduct.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • By participating, you release the venue, All Chalk, and its affiliates from any liability for disputes, errors, or issues arising from participation.

  • The venue is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or other claims that may occur while participating.

  • Participants assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to injury, technical failures, or access issues.

  • By participating in All Chalk contests, you agree to release and hold harmless:

    • Treadlight, Inc. (DBA All Chalk), its affiliates, officers, and employees; and

    • Participating restaurants/bars, their owners, staff, and affiliates;
      from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation, prize acceptance, or use of the app.

9. Privacy & Data

  • Data is collected in accordance with the All Chalk Privacy Policy.

  • By playing, users consent to their name and contest results being displayed on leaderboards.

  • Any personal information collected (e.g., names for prize tracking) will be used solely for contest administration and will not be sold or shared outside of what is necessary.

  • Participants consent to the collection, use, and storage of personal data solely for contest administration purposes.

10. Compliance with Law

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

  • This contest is intended to comply with California Business & Professions Code §19930–19940 regarding free, skill-based contests.

  • For alcohol-serving venues, the contest is conducted in accordance with California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations.

  • These rules are intended to provide maximum legal protection and are not a waiver of any participant rights under applicable law.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes regarding contest results or prize eligibility will be resolved by the venue in its sole discretion.

  • All decisions regarding scores, winners, and prizes are final.

  • Any legal action must be brought in Solano County, California, and California law will govern.

12. Acceptance of Terms

  • By joining this All Chalk group, you agree to these contest rules and legal disclaimers, including the limit of one entry per participant.

  • Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification at the discretion of the venue.

  • By participating, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and accept all terms and disclaimers herein.
